Hatter the Elf
Because I made the effort to take a quick picture when our Elf arrived each morning... here's what Hatter got up to this season
Merry Christmas (and everything else)
I'm really struggling with posting on the blogs lately (in case you couldn't tell). So... thanks to my camera and phone I'm going to try and post about the rest of December.
We had a Petersen Family Christmas party at Gregg and Barbara's church. Our family is growing too big for a lot of people's houses. Good food and good fun.
Jodi and Trevor had a big gender-reveal party. Justin and I still think waiting until the baby is born is the most exciting (we've done it both ways), but this way is a close second!
Oh... it's a girl. We've already decided that she and Kate will be best friends!
We went and picked out this year's ornaments. We pretty much let the kids pick their's, and there wasn't a huge selection. So, Kate ended up with Cookie Monster and Hyrum picked out the Abominable Snowman. Milo didn't put up much of a fight for his First Christmas ornament.
We sent out and received a lot of Christmas cards. I love Christmas cards. And neighbor gifts.
Christmas Eve at Grandma Colleen's house.
And that night with the Lafeen's at our house.
Christmas morning!
Santa made it.
And Grandma and Grandpa Hardcastle came by to see all of the fun.
Later that morning was our Petersen family brunch
And the tower of presents.
And the comparing of little boys.
Afterwards we went up to the Goughs to visit and exchange a few gifts.
Then we headed to the Hardcastle's for dinner.
That night we slept at the Hardcastle's and then took Justin to the airport the next morning.
I'm tired just recapping all of that!
