I can't think of any more ways to offer liquid.
The Little Man has been sick (pink eye, ear infections, reaction to antibiotics etc).
He hasn't eaten anything but a few bites (a tablespoon of applesauce, quarter cup of yogurt, 3 bites of string cheese, a spoon of ice cream) since Saturday -and I'm not exaggerating- but he's been drinking.
Today? Maybe 5 oz -all day.
So I tried these this afternoon and evening.
Nothing. He had a sip of half of them and wouldn't have anything more to do with them.
Any suggestions?
I'd try some otter pops, maybe he'd like it since its cold and tasty.
ReplyDeleteI agree...try popsicles. Is he peeing yet? TMI? Thanks for the emails!
ReplyDeleteDrip tiny drops into his mouth with a medicine dropper. He doesn't even have to swallow, it will absorb.
ReplyDeleteTry a syringe filled with something he usually likes. My kids always think that's fun.
ReplyDeleteUse a straw to get him liquids - we're doing that with our sick kid.
ReplyDeletepopsicles.
a coke?
Popsicles! Have him eat one while in the tub - much less of a mess!
