Today was the day Hyrum has really been looking forward too. I'm not sure if its Justin getting him psyched up, the fact that a few of his friends have Legos (we only have a few of the big ones) or the fact that we told him this is where we'd buy him a toy, but he was excited. And in turn, Kate was excited too.
The rides were... A bit tame and nearly all of them a parent had to go with both kids. They both usually fell into the height range where they needed an adult to go with, and since Milo could ride any of them, we had to do a lot of switching places.
They both seemed to like the 3D movie we watched, although the glasses only came in stretched out adult size. We had to hold them on Kates face for her and Hyrum resorted to some interesting faces to keep his on.
The other show was a live action one, with singing & dancing fire fighters that kept the kids entertained (and a little wet).
Milo was a pretty good sport considering he was stuck in the stroller for most of the day.
We didn't leave without buying our first Lego sets. Seriously, I kind of can't believe we've managed to avoid them up until this point, but I was sort of hoping to get the baby out of putting-everything-in-his-mouth stage, and it's probably only another couple months of that. So, we're taking home an Iron Man set and a girly set with a girl, a dog, and a soccer ball.
