Jackson Hole 2014

These are the less than professional photos.

We decided to stop in Bear Lake on the way up so we could eat at La Beau's.  We usually drive that way on the way home, and all the good spots are closed on Sunday.

Dinner was at the same bar we went to last year.  It wasn't so fun this time.  I figure that last year we were there on a Thursday night in the middle of a blizzard, so one else had bothered to go out.  This year was great weather, and everybody decided to go out.  It was a bit crowded, and not as good as I remembered.  We'll probably try a new spot next year.

We had the same great house that we were at last year.  The Lafeen's still had the basement to ourselves -I doubt we'll luck out with that set up much longer.

We had a little birthday party for Milo.

The kids loved playing with each other.  Okay, I think Charlotte could have done without all the extra attention, but she'll come around in another year or so.

Milo and Stella were super cute together.

We managed a small hike on Friday around Jenny Lake.  Like, around half a mile of it (maybe) and a picnic lunch.  Hyrum spent a relaxing 15 minutes in the hot tub with the boys and can't wait to go back in there.

Saturday morning was the Hardcastle breakfast.  We were a pretty small group this year.  Ryan and Brooke were home with a new baby and Jenn and her family stayed home because she had an eye infection.  We did have Paul's finance there, but it was kind of sad to not have everyone up there.

Saturday we ventured into town, walking around and picking up pizza for dinner.  We loved it, and my vote will be to try it again next year. We also had a root beer float competition.  I think the Brownie won.

Sunday was the drive home, with a quick stop by to see the future sight of Camp David.  Mimi and Papa bought some land in Alpine and are building a cabin that will be done early summer next year, so we'll be frequenting the area a bit more often in the future!  It looks great, even in the rain.
