A little behind

So... I'm sort of a lot behind.  And, I'm too lazy and tired to walk downstairs to get my real camera... so this update will only include pictures taken with my phone.  Maybe tomorrow I'll get the other ones up.

The weekend after Lagoon we went to Justin's uncles wedding.  It was at a really nice reception center in Draper.  They had a daycare in the basement!!!  A whole room, with staff, full of new toys AND a train table where we could drop the kids off.  If it wasn't for Grandpa Lafeen wanting to hang out with Hyrum, we would have never seen him again.

The kids and I missed out on karaoke, but Justin said it was pretty good.

The kids and I went to the Aquarium for one last time.  I let our membership expire because things seem to be up in the air as to if they're staying open and when and where the new one will be.  We've gone quite a few times, it's close to our house, not too big, and a perfect place to let the kids run around for an hour or so.

We had a end of season (even though our season ended before the summer really started) T-ball pool party. Pizza, a pool, and grandparents.  The kids had a great time.  (Here's one where I took pictures with my actual camera... those will come soon).

We attended Denise's parents (Grandma-the-Great and Grandpa Richmond) 50th wedding anniversary luncheon in Fountain Green.  It was a long drive, but the kids had a great time playing in a nearby park with Grandpa Lafeen and it was nice to get together for a good lunch with family.

Our neighborhood signed up for a block party for Midvale's Harvest Days.  They had one of these two years ago, but it was the night that Hyrum was released from the hospital after being really sick and dehydrated, so he and I didn't go.  The fireman showed up and the kids loved seeing and climbing around the truck.

We ended the week with a parade (oh how I love parades) for Harvest Days.  Hyrum liked catching candy (of course) and the kids were pretty entertained.  We came back after naps and played on the bounce houses, had dinner, and then drove to our cousin's shaved ice place in West Jordan for one last Shavy Jones for the season.
Waiting for the parade to start.

I can't believe that summer is nearly over.  Which means that the baby is almost here.  Which, as far as my body is concerned, couldn't come quick enough.  My emotions and other area's of readiness... is a little too quick.  I suppose that's how it always feels.
