Date Night

Last night the Little Man stayed at his Mimi and Papa's house and Justin and I went out. It wasn't anything special, we wanted to take a tour of the hospital we'll be delivering Baby #2 at.

The tour was less than ideal. When we toured the last hospital it was pretty apparent the regular tour guide wasn't available and the person who gave the tour knew next to nothing about labor and delivery or the hospital policies.

This hospital at least had a nurse do the tour. Unfortunately, the labor and delivery side of the floor was pretty busy, so the postpartum nurse did the entire tour. Which, once again, left us with a few questions about the labor and delivery side. Ya know, the important part.

So, to cheer Justin up, we went and got chocolates. From Hatch Family Chocolates. I would include a link, but surprisingly enough, doesn't have a web site. Seriously? You have a show on cable about little people owning and operating a local chocolate company, but you can't manage to get a website?

Either way, we had a couple of delicious (and expensive) chocolates that, as Justin put it, "were most likely made by midgets".

Not too bad.

  1. What hospital are you having baby no. 2 at? Loved IMC labor and delivery...postpartum...not so much.

Also, you guys coming tmrw night to Jason's b-day party? We would love to have you. It is a surprise party so make sure to get here before 7pm (earlier the better). Let me know and I'll give you our address just in case you forgot where we live.

    Good luck w/your pregnancy!

  2. I can maybe answer some of your questions. I walked that floor for about a hundred hours and I was in different rooms in labor and delivery each time I checked in. (3 total) Different nurses every time and we were never disappointed. I think you'll love it.
