Gender

A friend sent me over this very well written article on learning the gender of your baby and I thought it was thought-provoking enough to share it with you few but admirable readers of our blog.

Pros & Cons

What is your opinion?

  1. hmmm...i think if you choose not to find out then fine...and if you do, then fine.

    how's that for thought provoking?

  2. I'm in support of not knowing. It's kinda fun. Plus, I'm already planning a gender neutral fiesta for your little bambino(a).

  3. There is a wonderful excitment that you get when on the table you are told boy or girl. I know when it was #3 and we were told we had a boy we were just as trilled as #1 & #2 about girls, but I know dad was elated, and especially again at #4 was a boy too. So just be excited either way.

  4. Gender aside, happy and healthy is the most important for us as grandparents. When YOU choose to find out, realy is a personal choice and different for everyone. Either way, we will love and welcome the new addition when it arrives. Not knowing now, is saving us a ton of money - as I would be shopping up a storm:):):)

    For that, thank you!

  5. FIND OUT! It's a surprise regardless of when it happens - at 20 weeks or when the kid gets here.

  6. If you like to plan ahead for things, and get the most gifts possilbe from people I would say find out. Grandma always needs to pick up a couple more things if she can picture what your little one might look like. My sister only found out what she was having with her little girl. It was exciting for them to wait.

    Good luck

  7. I think it's absolutely the best surprise you will ever have in life. That being said, we didn't know for our first 2, but since it was such a shocker when I found out I was pregnant with #3, I needed to be mentally prepared if it was a boy, so we found out. And indeed, boy #3 he was.
